About
My name is Laras Fadillah
A scientist, researcher, and entrepreneur passionate about bridging science and wellness.
I completed my PhD in Japan, where I explored advanced material characterization and developed a deep interest in electrochemistry and interface science. Currently, I'm a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Fribourg, Switzerland, focusing on solid-state batteries, especially interface optimization and stability in sulfide-based electrolytes. My work combines surface functionalization strategies with advanced analytical techniques to accelerate the path toward scalable, next-generation energy storage solutions.
Alongside my scientific career, I embrace my entrepreneurial side through wellness innovation. I founded Selaras Rena Abadi, a brand dedicated to creating meaningful wellness experiences inspired by nature, culture, and balance. For me, wellness is more than products; it's about harmonizing science, tradition, and daily life.
This site brings together both worlds: my academic and professional journey and my creative ventures. Whether you're a fellow scientist, potential collaborator, or someone curious about science-driven wellness, I'm glad you're here.

Our Vision for Innovation
My vision is to create meaningful connections between science and everyday life. In my research, I focus on advancing all-solid-state batteries to enable safer, scalable, and sustainable energy storage for the future. Through surface functionalization, interface optimization, and collaborative projects, I aim to accelerate the transition toward cleaner technologies.
Beyond the lab, I bring the same spirit of innovation and balance into entrepreneurship. With wellness-driven projects, I aim to integrate scientific thinking, cultural heritage, and natural resources to design products that enhance well-being and foster harmony.
Innovation, for me, is not only about discovery; it is about transforming knowledge into impact, creating solutions that empower people, industries, and communities to grow together.
